Fantasy and music come together in Bend event

Fans of all things ‘The Lord of the Rings’ in Bend may be intrigued by an upcoming local event.

‘Shire on the Mountain- A Bluegrass Lord of the Rings Costume Party feat Quattlebaum’ is a musical performance and celebration of fellowship inspired by the fantasy works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live music, dancing and storytelling while admiring the variety of costumes and enjoying the company of fellow fans.

Events such as this often make use of poster printing services. Posters allow much of the event information to be conveyed to potential attendees at a glance, and may be sold as merchandise for the event itself.

Quattlebaum is a four-part band who will be performing pieces taking inspiration from both ‘The Lord of the Rings’ movies and Books, as well as playing some more modern covers with Middle-earth inspired arrangements.

Part of the evening’s celebration will also include a costume contest with the chance for prizes. Everyone attending is strongly encouraged to dress up.

The event will be taking place on Friday October 16 at Volcanic Theatre Pub, located at 70 SW Century Dr, Bend. Doors will open at 7pm with the performance beginning at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased online prior to the event for $22 or at the door on the night of for $30. All ages are welcome.
