Festival comes to Bend this winter

The City of Bend is transforming its Old Mill District into a stomping ground for celebration with the Oregon WinterFest this February.

Featuring local food and drink vendors, family-friendly winter activities, live music, and art displays, the WinterFest is a tradition stretching back more than two decades.

Taking place over President’s Day weekend, there are numerous ticket packages available, including three-day passes for adults and children. While a Hot Cocoa 5K is included in the entry price, there is also a Wine Walk available for an additional fee.

The main festival is located on Shevlin Hixon Drive, while the Ticket Mill location — where various tickets and activity passes can be purchased — is on Southwest Powerhouse Drive.

Musical guests include Saxsquatch, Brandi Cyrus, Tifanny, and the Blondie tribute band Glass of Hearts.

Fire and ice combine during the festival in an exposition featuring both fire pits and displays, as well as ice sculptures. For children’s activities, there is a performance of dogs performing tricks, science exhibits, bounce houses, interactive booths, and carnival games.

Festivals like this may choose to use brochure printing for activity schedules, vendor lists, and programs.

Oregon Winterfest in Bend’s Old Mill District is happening on Friday, February 13 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm; Saturday, February 14 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm; and Sunday, February 15 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
