Fall festival brings music and art to Bend
The annual Fall Festival is returning to the heart of downtown Bend.
Spanning three days in the first weekend in October, the first night has music and food only in the evening, but the second and third events span all day and include other amenities.
More than 80 artists and crafters will show off their bespoke pieces for the entire weekend, with artisans demonstrating how they use their mediums in front of participants. From blacksmiths to jewelry makers, to printmakers and clay sculptors, there’s a variety of artistic fields to explore. There are even lesser-known artisanal crafts on display, such as chalk artists and pumpkin painters.
Some of the installations available to the public will even be interactive, inviting participants to create things with the artist.
The music lineup for the fall festival includes Call Down Thunder, Stephanie Anne Johnson, DJPK, No Duh? A No Doubt Cover Band, Cascade School of Music Students, Leadbetter Band, The Bunkhouse Two, Skillethead and Appaloosa, Long Gone Wilder, Bekkah McAlvage and the Alicia Viani Trio, among others.
Vendors at the event include Ember Saunas, taco and burrito stands, Sunriver Brewing Co., Crater Lake Spirits and Copa Central Oregon Pediatric Associates, among others.
Fall celebrations like this may choose to use print shops for marquee signs, promotional material or menus.
The Bend Fall Festival happens on October 3-5 in downtown Bend.
