The Springfield Arts Council is proud to present the 2023 Summer Arts Festival in Springfield, featuring the return of the Parrots of the Caribbean.
Known for their trop-rock island music and lively performances, the Parrots of the Caribbean’s blend of upbeat rhythms and catchy lyrics has gained them a loyal fan base.
The group is set to perform the beloved hits of Jimmy Buffett as a salute to him, and will also perform some hits from their own CD "Cool Bayou," which features a unique blend of zydeco, rock, country, and patriotic flair. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops as they prepare to dance the night away.
The event is admission-free, but donations are encouraged during intermission in support of the Springfield Arts Council's mission to promote the arts and bring cultural experiences to the community.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 17, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Veterans Park Amphitheater in Springfield. Located at 250 Cliff Park Rd, the Amphitheater provides a setting for a night under the stars, with plenty of seating available.
Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing or poster printing to advertise the event to Springfield residents and its neighborhoods. For more information about the event, visit the Springfield Arts Council's website.
