A family farm in Springfield is preparing the grounds for a fall market that brings the community together and supports local vendors and businesses.
The First Annual Mathews Family Farm Fest is nearly upon Springfield, and area residents looking for a seasonal celebration to enjoy with family and friends are encouraged to attend. The organizers are preparing a day of fun for the entire family while bringing food options and local flavor to the forefront.
The grounds will feature a spot dedicated to local vendors, allowing shoppers and residents to meet the faces behind their favorite local products and services. There will also be ample activities and games for children at the festival, ensuring memories and good times for all. Banner printing is a welcoming way to greet attendees and passersby, increasing visitors and providing more awareness for the festival.
Interested parties with an aptitude for cooking can sign up to compete in the event’s Chili Cook-Off. Attendees will sample and vote on who has the best chili in Springfield. Hayrides will take guests to different sections of the farm, and fresh produce, mums, and pumpkins will be available for purchase.
The fall festival will be held at 2604 Springfield-Xenia Road in Springfield on Saturday, October 18th, from 10:00 to 7:00 PM. It will be a free community event, though interested parties can RSVP online.
