A Springfield music festival will be welcoming bands and visitors this May for an experience that shines the spotlight on Ohio’s up-and-coming musical acts.
The FromOhio Music Festival, presented by Visit Greater Springfield, will open its gates soon to attendees who want to indulge in the energy and music of the show with other enthusiasts. This year’s festival will be transitioning from IndieCraft to the greater downtown Springfield area, allowing attendees to experience top local bands in several stages in town.
Organizers are hoping that the transition will segue into the next chapter of the festival’s evolution, along with shifting the focus from nationally touring bands to those that are gaining momentum in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. The festival’s values involve continuing to prioritize sustainable and organic goods and approaches. Organizers can lean on banner printing to promote such events within the community while providing a colorful and memorable welcome to attendees.
Guests will get to take in high-energy performances at intimate venues while enjoying the best regional and local craft beers throughout the weekend. A curated selection of food trucks has also been recruited. Top bands at the festival include The Ophelias, Crabs without Legs, and Heather Redman + The Reputation.
The festival will be held in downtown Springfield starting on Friday, May 29 at 5:00 PM. All shows and venues are free to attend.
