A festival focused on flavor is coming to Springfield this September, with organizers believing that this year’s festival will be the most flavor-packed yet.
MustardFest 2026 will open its gates to Springfield residents and visitors who have an enthusiasm for food, with attendees celebrating all things mustard and supporting a community staple that dates back to 1905. The festival will feature several friendly but chaotic games where families and friends can compete against each other to win prizes.
The festival, which is presented by Woeber Mustard, will include the opportunity for guests to witness a wiener dog race. These races are expected to be among the most heart-warming in the state. Guests with a voracious appetite can also compete in the festival’s Hot Mustard & Horseradish Eating Contest for the chance to win the Mustard Belt. Other competitions include the U.S. Steinholding Championship Qualifier and From Grain to Glass, a beer-pairing culinary experience that is expected to sell out. Mustard Merch will be available to purchase, giving attendees a token to remember their experience by.
National Road Commons Park in Springfield will be hosting MustardFest 2026 on Saturday, September 12th, from 1:00 to 5:00pm. The community festival will be free to attend.
