National Philanthropy Day celebrations scheduled in Springfield

A national holiday that focuses on giving and supporting the greater community is on the horizon, and Springfield residents will have a safe and welcoming setting to celebrate.

The National Philanthropy Day 2025 celebration, which is being organized by the Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals, is nearly set to kick off, bringing area residents who enjoy making a difference together in one space. The event will double as an award ceremony, with organizers recognizing the community’s Outstanding Business, Outstanding Nonprofit, and Outstanding Philanthropist.

The holiday aims to recognize those in the community who do the most to give back and assist individuals in need. Building awareness of these individuals and groups can work toward providing enrichment in the world. Banner printing is a professional and colorful way to welcome attendees to such award ceremonies and gatherings.

The event will also celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals, who work to benefit residents in Clark, Champaign, and Green counties. Lunch will be provided to guests, courtesy of the Ohio Masonic Communities. A selection of items will also be available through an auction.

The Ohio Masonic Home Festival Green Clubhouse in Springfield will host the gathering and celebration. It is set for noon on Wednesday, November 12th. Ticket prices start at $33.85 per guest online.
