Blues festival brings top musicians to Springfield
Springfield music lovers are in for a treat this summer, as an annual festival is preparing an impressive lineup of top Blues artists and groups to perform.
The Springfield Jazz and Blues Festival has announced its start date, allowing area residents and visitors to begin making their plans and reservations to attend. The two-day festival will feature two separate stages, ensuring that performances will be happening throughout the experience. Springfield native John Legend will be helping to host this year’s festival and give back to his hometown.
The gathering aims to build upon Springfield’s long history within the music industry. This year’s festival is being presented by Kiwanis and is shaping up to be one of the top summer events in the Miami Valley. Poster printing is an excellent way for organizers to promote the festival, with ample space for eye-catching graphics and the artist lineups.
Organizers have arranged for 18 national, regional, and local Blues and Jazz artists to perform over the two-day musical event. Both stages will be within walking distance for convenience. Top food trucks will be at the site to provide snacks and meals, and locally brewed beer options will be available.
The festival will be held at Mother Stewart’s Brewery and Commons Park in Springfield, starting on Friday, August 8th. Attendance is free and open to the public.
