Pizza festival planned in Springfield

Next month, a special pizza festival is scheduled to host a tasting event for Springfield residents and food lovers.

The Slice of Springfield Pizza Competition is scheduled to begin in a few weeks, and Springfield residents are invited to sample pies from several local pizzerias. After tasting each pizza option, guests will vote on the item of food they enjoyed most. The festival’s organizers are promising tasty pizzas, cold refreshments, music, and fun for everyone who attends.

The event is being held for charity, with all money from ticket sales being donated to National Trail Parks and Recreation in Clark County. Ten local pizzerias will enter their offerings to the festival, although only one will be determined the ultimate champion. Each attendee will receive a complimentary beverage to wash the pizza down.

The event also offers an Early Bird ticket program for interested parties who want to reserve a spot in advance. The program provides an extra drink ticket for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. When special events like this and other festivals are planned, printing services are often viewed as an excellent option for printing tickets and documents.

Mother Stewart’s Brewing will host this pizza-centric event on Thursday, February 8, beginning at 4:30pm. Tickets cost $35, and interested parties can reserve their spot online or at the NTPRD offices.
