Philanthropy celebration makes visit to Springfield
A celebration of giving is on the horizon in Springfield, recognizing top individuals and non-profit organizations in the area for their charitable nature and efforts.
The National Philanthropy Day 2024 celebration and award ceremony have an official start date, and guests and honorees are welcome to arrive in a few weeks. The event will recognize the most outstanding philanthropists, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the Springfield community for their efforts to help others and create a better world.
The Greater Springfield AFP is organizing and sponsoring the gathering to raise awareness of these individuals and organizations. It will also celebrate the Greater Springfield AFP's seventh anniversary with a theme of “Change the World with a Giving Heart.” The funds raised at the award ceremony will benefit Clark, Champaign, and Greene County communities. Business card printing is essential for interested parties attending such events to make new connections and grow their networks.
The 2024 honorees include the Ohio State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers, Dr. Julius Bailey, and Wallace and Turner Insurance. Lunch will be provided to registered guests through the Ohio Masonic Communities. A silent auction will allow visitors to make offers on rare and collectible items.
The Festival Green Clubhouse will be the host venue for the ceremony, which is set for Thursday, November 14th, from noon until 1:30 PM. Tickets cost $30 and are available online.
