National Walnut Convention comes to Springfield
Knowledge and networking opportunities are on their way to Springfield next month, with an event offering a space for area residents to learn about the growth and culture of a certain nut and the tree it comes from.
The 2024 National Walnut Council Annual Meeting is scheduled to begin in a few weeks, with walnut experts from around the nation coming together to share thoughts, ideas, and knowledge. The event will be spread across two days, and interested parties can choose to register for the duration of the meeting or the day that appeals to them.
The event will feature nationally recognized experts with experience in the growth, utilization, and culture of black walnut and other wood options. When registering for the event, guests can anticipate meeting farmers, ranchers, scientists, and natural researchers. Individuals from these industries can also benefit from attending to learn more about regional hardwood trees. Brochure printing is a fantastic resource for sharing knowledge at events like this.
Attendees from out of town are encouraged to make reservations at local hotels for a comfortable stay in Springfield. The event is collaborating with Comfort Suites. Restaurants are also available near the hotel.
The event will be held in Springfield’s center starting on Sunday, July 28, and concluding on Tuesday, July 30. The gates will open at 4:00 PM. Full registration costs $175, and interested parties can make reservations online.
