Spitzer Motor City on Brookpark Road plans expansion

Parma’s Planning Commission has recently given its approval for a $4m expansion of the Spitzer Motor City dealership.

Construction is slated to start in April on the 14,000-square-foot dealership expansion, which will add 16 service bays, a new customer lounge, LED lighting, a showroom expansion between 1,000 and 2,000 square feet, and new roofing.

Banner printing services are frequently utilized during construction or renovations of a business.

Catherine Schuster, the Spitzer Director of Real Estate & Development, was quoted by Cleveland.com as saying:

“Right now, there’s a canopy around the perimeter of the showroom. So, we’re bumping that out to meet that canopy with all new glass and a new front facade. We’re also raising the elevation about 12 feet in the air so its presence will be more pronounced.”

Schuster explained that the building as it exists now is L-shaped and that the expansion would fill in and square the building off. The curb cut will be moved south from where it is presently located on West 130th Street so there will be ample room around the outside of the building.

A family-owned business, Spitzer has been in the automotive business since 1904. The company has locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida across 18 brands of vehicles.

Spritzer Motor City anticipates it will increase its workforce from 60 to 90 employees following the expansion, which is expected to be complete in late 2022.
