It’s almost time for the return of a popular springtime tradition: the annual Community Egg Hunt sponsored by the Parma City School District (PCSD).
The 2025 egg hunt drew over 1,300 children from Parma, Seven Hills and Parma Heights with each taking home a share of the 30,000 treat-filled eggs. This year the free, family-friendly event takes place on March 21st at 10 am at Byers Field with a sensory friendly time starting at 9:30 am.
The Community Egg Hunt is open to children up to 12 years old and is designed to be accessible and inclusive for the whole community. Although free, families will need to complete a registration form for their children to participate in the hunt.
Banner, poster and flyer printing services can all be used to help organization’s advertise community events with the best option being dependent on both the event and the community.
PCSD encourages its staff to volunteer for the event as it will give them an opportunity to interact with students their families and future students. Moreover, they can be helpful in ensuring a well-organized event that is safe and enjoyable for all concerned.
The school district is also looking to the community for donations to support the Community Egg Hunt thereby enabling PCSD to continue to hold the event free of charge to families.
