Anyone who has ever wanted to ask a writer where they get their ideas, or complain about a plot point in a novel they just read, will have a chance to do so when local authors meet the public next year.
The Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) has an upcoming event on its schedule that will allow readers to spend time with local writers. It is all part of the upcoming Indie Author Conference & Showcase, featuring self-published authors, to be held in Parma.
The day-long conference consists of two parts: from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm, attendees will be able to meet independent writers and speak with them in breakout sessions apart from the main event.
From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, attendees will have the chance to listen as authors share their works and discuss them with interested parties.
The conference and showcase is open to the public, and admission is free. The date of the event is March 7, 2015, a Saturday, and it is slated to be held at the Parma-Snow Branch of the CCPL system. Running from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the library is at 2121 Snow Road in Parma.
Self-published authors who are interested in attending need to submit their applications by January 14, 2015. Forms can be found on the CCPL website.Get a Free Quote for Forms
