DealPoint Merrill has finalized its purchase of The Shops at Pearl & 130th, a 155,805-square-foot strip mall less than three miles from Parma, and plans to renovate it at a cost of approximately $10m.
The Woodland Hills, California-based nationwide developer issued a news release announcing that the first quarter of 2022 would see the start of the renovation project. The site in question has a single vacant building that had been occupied by MC Sporting Goods and another building that is presently housing Old Time Pottery. Additionally, an outparcel houses Bakers Square Restaurant & Bakery.
Architects rely on printing services to make additional Copies of buildings and site blueprints before developments like this.
According to its release, DealPoint wanted the property for its central location within a retail and dense residential corridor that had easy highway access and was in proximity to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
This is the fourth major construction venture DealPoint Merrill has undertaken in the Greater Cleveland area. One of its largest local development was the 1.5-million-square-foot, $200m Richmond Town Square redevelopment in Richmond Heights.
The Richmond Town Square will be turned into the Belle Oaks Marketplace, a mixed-use development that will have 700 luxury apartments, a park, outdoor pool, retail space, and other amenities.
A self-storage business, Life Storage, currently operates at the Richmond Heights site and will be included in the Bell Oaks Marketplace once it is complete. The project will be a two-phase construction. Get a Free Quote for Copies
