A library here in Parma has scorned not just one but two nationally acclaimed writers for a July event.
Prolific, well-known author James Patterson, renown for penning mystery-thrillers, and Mike Lupica, a veteran New York Daily News columnist, will appear together at the Parma-Snow branch of the Cuyahoga County Library to promote their collaborative novel. The book, “Hard to Kill”, which is being released this month, is the second in a series featuring cop-turned attorney Jane Smith.
A wealth of printed materials such as literature commissioned by nonprofits and government agencies and produced by brochure printing services can be found in libraries.
The two men will speak on July 30, at the Parma-Snow branch from 6 to 7 pm. The cost to attend the event is $30 and includes admission and a signed copy or “Hard to Kill”. Part of the admission cost will be donated to the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation. Although the event will have pre-signed Books on hand, it will not be a book signing. Mac’s Backs will be on hand with additional copied for purchase.
Novelist James Patterson has written dozens of novels including several successful series such as the Women’s Murder Club and those featuring the protagonist, Alex Cross. He has also authored a number of stand-alone Books and collaborated on several others with such well-known individuals as Dolly Parton and Bill Clinton. Mike Lupica has had nearly a dozen young-adult novels published.
