Ohio chamber to raise money for high school scholarships

An annual golf outing designed to raise money for local high school student scholarships will take place in July.

Organized by the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will provide members with not only a chance to raise money for local students, but also to network and relax on a summer day.

Chamber members can participate as single golfers – particularly if they are interested in making new business connections – or play in a foursome. Regardless, members are encouraged to bring Business Cards and be prepared to make new connections while raising money for a good cause.

The event will take place at the Ridgewood Golf Course, which is located at 6505 Ridge Road, in Parma. The facility has an array of benefits for golfers, including clubhouse access, fine dining, and more. For additional information, visit the course’s website.

Chamber members will pay $115 for an individual hole, $425 for a foursome, or $525 for a foursome and hole sponsorship. Individuals who do not want to play golf but just be there for the dinner will pay $25.

The event will be held on Friday, July 21, and will run from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. A portion of all profit from the event will go to fund scholarships for Parma students, and attendees will receive a receipt after paying.
