National cookie chain comes to Parma

Early in 2022 The Shoppes at Parma will have the smell of freshly baked cookies wafting through its halls when Crumbl, a national cookie chain opens its new location there.

The Shoppes at Parma is owned by Allied Development; its vice president, David Mott told Cleveland.com:

“This is very strategic for The Shoppes at Parma. Amongst our 80 tenants, we don’t have one dessert concept, so I think they’re going to really corner the market there.”

New additions to a venue are frequently announced before they open with the assistance of a banner printing service.

Crumbl was founded in 2017 and presently has 264 locations spread throughout 36 states, which has made it the nation’s fastest-growing cookie company. The bakery, offers a rotating cookie menu with a handful of various specialty flavors, plus its chilled pink sugar and award-winning chocolate chip cookies. Cumbl frequently themes its cookies for seasons or holidays.

The company’s Parma location will be its first in Cuyahoga County. The approximately 2,000-square-foot site was formerly where Sprint was located and has been vacant for most of the last year.

Mott explained that The Shoppes at Parma is at a point where it is methodically looking for specific additions while judiciously avoiding duplication. Competitors to current tenants have sought a place in The Shoppes but Allied Development has been reluctant to include any of them.
