Barbecue and music collide in Parma

Barbecue aficionados and music lovers will want to save the date in their journals, as a food and music festival is coming to Parma.

The Rib n’ Rock 2025 festival has an official start date for next month, pairing delicious food with live music from local bands and artists. The festival, which the Parma Chamber of Commerce is organizing, aims to bring more visitors to town and promote Parma’s small businesses.

The festival will span four days and feature various events and concerts, ensuring a fun environment for area residents to celebrate summer with friends and family. Day One will feature a hot dog-eating contest, sponsored by Nathan’s Hot Dogs. Local band Trailor Park Ninjas will take the stage at 8:00 PM to close out the first day. Banner printing is a colorful way to generate impressions, promote event sponsors, and welcome attendees to such events.

The second day will feature Disco Express and Out of Eden, with the Day Three band list including Sid Lucid, Barracuda, and Rock Radio. Boaterhead will close out the festival’s last day on stage. Parking for the event venue is free, and attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather.

The festival will be held at 7900 Day Drive in downtown Parma, from Thursday, June 5th to Sunday, June 8th. General admission tickets are available online for $4.51 per guest.
