Locals invited to learn how to fly a drone

The Parma-Powers Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library - which includes Parma, Ohio - has announced a new educational opportunity for interested individuals. Specifically, the library will be offering a chance for individuals to learn how to fly a drone, and then be given hands-on experience in drone flying.

According to library officials, attendees will start with an orientation into what a drone is and how it works. From there, they will be given hands-on experience in drone flying. Experts will be on hand to teach the ins and outs of drone flying, answer questions, and provide guidance to individuals who enjoy drone flying and may want to do more of it in the future. Specifically, attendees will get the chance to fly a Tello Drone aircraft.

Once the class is complete, attendees will be given the chance to engage in flying competitions against other class attendees.

Registration for the event opens on August 7, and registration is required before attending the event. This is a free event. Poster printing and Flyers can be a great way to market events such as these.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 7, and run from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. The class will start by meeting in the Meeting Room of the Parma-Powers Library Branch. The library address is 6996 Powers Boulevard, in Parma.

Individuals under 18 are allowed to register and attend, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
