The Parma-Powers branch of the Cuyahoha County Public Library has announced that it will be hosting a balloon twisting and making event.
The event, hosted by Swifty the Clown, is designed to host a fun experience for kids while also giving them a chance to explore the library and its services.
Swifty the Clown, according to his website, is not only able to make kids laugh, but also unleash the “power of the balloon.” Claiming over 3,000 balloon creations, he looks to elevate the simple balloon into something lifelike and visual. Swifty the Clown is available for regular bookings, with more information available on his website.
Before or after the event, parents can take their kids around the library, check out Books, or sign them up for their first library card and an induction to the world of reading. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Parma Library, which has the goal of creating more community involvement and awareness about the various services of the library.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 4, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. It will be held at the Parma-Powers library, which is located at 6996 Parma Blvd, in Parma. The event is free to attend, although registration is requested. This can be completed by visiting the event website.
