Financial health the subject of next Chamber event

The Parma Area Chamber of Commerce has announced an event to teach members how to build healthy financial lives.

This event – an introduction to many financial aspects of someone’s life – appears geared towards individuals interested in learning more about the basic building blocks of personal finance. Specifically, this event will give attendees an overview of personal finances, including a review of credit scores, credit reports, debt management, and debt repayment.

The event will be hosted by Rachel Durci of Effortless Budgeting, who teaches individuals to take better control over their financial futures and provides coaching and education around these topics. As a personal finance expert, Durci helps people learn specific budgeting techniques and discover how to make their own financial decisions with confidence. More information about her and Effortless Budgeting can be found on the business’s website.

This is a Chamber event, which means it is ideal for networking. As such, Chamber members should bring Business Cards and get to know other attendees.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 13, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event is free for both Chamber and non-Chamber members, although pre-registration is requested and this can be done at the Chamber website. It will be held at the Cuyahoga Public Library, Parma Heights Branch, which is located at 6206 Pearl Road.
