Nominations for the fifth annual competition to name the “Best of Parma” must be submitted within the next few days.
This year’s competition will follow changes made last year when the number of categories was reduced and runners-up were added to the list of winners.
Best of Parma Director Chelsey Kovar, owner of All of Her Designs, will once more be organizing the contest. Kovar, recently named the Northwest Neighborhoods CDC’s director of economic development, was quoted by cleveland.com as saying:
“We’re really excited to highlight all of the really strong businesses in Parma that have supported the community through this COVID crisis. Best of Parma has definitely highlighted people’s love and support for their favorite businesses.”
Stationery printing services are on occasion asked to include honors or awards received by a business on its business Stationery.
Nominations will be accepted through January 31. Voting will take between February 1 and March 1, with March 4 being the day the winners and runners-up will be announced. Voting is not limited to Parma residents, since many workers in the city commute here.
Those establishments that are featured in the competition will be given a sticker and a certificate, as well as bragging rights for a whole year among the city’s more than 5,000 businesses.
Last year over 500 nominations were received and almost 10,000 votes were cast.
