The ceramics business K. CHARM Design will be organizing a workshop in January that Parma residents can complete at home.
Those interested in making ceramic art can participate in the upcoming class, which will guide students through the process of creating a slab roll mug. Participants will receive clay and a paper template from the studio to use at home. The course will be held on a Zoom call, and then the completed works of art can be delivered back to the business to be fired and glazed.
K. CHARM Design is a pottery studio founded in 2019 by Ki Charm John Kim. The owner has worked as an artist and industrial designer since 2001, and has shown his pieces in private galleries. The business sells items such as ceramic Mugs and bowls, while also holding public workshops. Artists who sell goods like this can design custom Business Cards to hand out to potential customers.
The ceramics workshop will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 and will begin at 2:00 pm. The fee to join the course will be $35 per student and will include the necessary materials and cost of two firings. An invitation to the Zoom call will be sent to those who register for the activity. Participants are responsible for delivering their finished pieces to the studio.
