Middleburg Heights to host popular German culture event

German culture, food, and drink will be on full display when the Cleveland Oktoberfest returns in late August.

This festival will take place over two weekends, so participants may attend either Labor Day weekend or the following weekend. A number of attractions will be available, including a craft market, an art market, and a Bavarian village. These three pavilions will be close to one another so attendees can find shade from the summer sun. Some of the family friendly entertainment includes wiener-dog racing, local and national artisans, and live music featuring four performance stages. Several food trucks will be available, with dining tents set up for attendees’ convenience. Over 100 exhibitors are expected to participate and over 45,000 people are expected to attend. The festival is sponsored by Northcoast Productions.

Exhibitors wishing to market their crafts or fine art are encouraged to apply for booth space. Booth fees range from $250 to $400. Banner printing and Business Cards are two services often used to promote such efforts.

The 14th Cleveland Oktoberfest will occur from August 29 to September 1, as well as the following weekend, September 5 to 6. The hours vary but are generally from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM each day. The festival will be held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, located at 19201 East Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights. Those curious for more information can find it on the event website.
