Middleburg Heights announces summer festival
The city of Middleburg Heights has announced a June festival featuring fun for the whole family.
The Summer in the City Festival is sponsored by the city of Middleburg Heights. The festival will kick off on the 13th with a parade at 6:30 PM, and the midway will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 PM. Activities for the three days will include midway rides, face painting, balloon artists, a dance performance, and an Oreo cookie stacking contest. Two concerts are scheduled as well. Bronx Country will perform a country music set on the City Hall Park Stage at 7:30 PM on the 14th, and WANTED, a Bon Jovi tribute band, will perform as well on the 15th from 8:00 to 10:00 PM.
Concerts are free and open to the public. No registration is required for festival attendance.
Various sites are available for parking, including Bethel Cleveland Church, Middleburg Heights Community Church, Berea-Midpark Middle School, and Big Creek Elementary School. Patrons should also note that transportation shuttles will be available at Big Creek Elementary School and Berea-Midpark Middle School.
