A highly regarded author plans to stop in the Middleburg Heights area next month to promote his newest book, and reading enthusiasts are invited to attend.
The Author Event with Fredrik Backman will soon open its doors to interested parties who want to enjoy a meet-and-greet and discussion with the author and learn more about his latest work, titled My Friends. Backman is a best-selling New York Times author, with hits like My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, Us Against You, and Anxious People, as well as two novellas.
My Friends is a tale of four teenagers whose bonds with each other influence and change the life of a stranger decades later. The friends are subjects in a famous painting, with an aspiring artist named Louisa set on discovering who they were. Promotional Products offer a fantastic way to promote such events and help authors and vendors build brand awareness and spread goodwill.
Each registered guest will receive a copy of My Friends, and the host venue will have other Books available for purchase. Money raised by the event will support the Cuyahoga County Library Foundation to ensure access for future generations.
The Parma-Snow Branch of Cuyahoga County Library in nearby Parma will host the gathering, which is scheduled for Friday, May 16, beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $30 per person online.
