Middleburg Heights residents who would like to provide comfort to someone battling cancer can have fun doing so when they add their name to the guest list for a local fundraiser.
Knitting for Cancer, which crafts comfort packs for those going through chemotherapy and other treatments, has set the date for its Pop Up Party, and it will be held at Middleburg Heights' Islander Bar and Grill. Tickets are $40.00, and a sponsorship program is also in place for anyone who would like to go the extra mile.
Each ticket will grant the bearer entry, and they will be treated to an all-you-can-eat-style buffet with chicken and pizza as the main dishes. Wine, liquor and beer along with unlimited soft drinks will be on the menu as well, and the festivities will run for three hours.
To add even more excitement to the evening, the organizers have scheduled an event split raffle, and there will be other prize draws as well. There are several sponsorship choices available, and these include an exclusive event sponsor as well as ones for the food and drinks. These will all see the supporting business's Logo Design prominently displayed in the function's marketing materials.
Knitting for Cancer will be hosting its Pop Up Party on September 6th. It will run from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
