Mansfield is set to take a step back in time to the days of knights and ladies when one of its venues rolls out the red carpet for a specially themed occasion.
Prohibition at the Caverns will open in May with its Medieval Night, and it will be the first time it has taken place. For added novelty, the diners will enjoy the experience 30 feet underground.
The venue’s chefs will put together a dinner that will feature four courses paired with fine wines. The musical talent for the celebration will be Minstrel Michael Manderen. Everyone is invited to fully enter into the spirit of the occasion by wearing medieval garb, and the top entry will win a crown.
The function will take a page from traditional May Day festivities. Tickets to take a seat are $145 each and reservations are required.
Organizing an event built around a central theme may require choosing suitable decor, and a banner printing company that supplies graphic design work can help. It can work with most budgets, and orders may be placed online, over the phone, or in person.
Prohibition at the Caverns, located at 51 East Fourth Street in Mansfield, will welcome guests for its first ever Medieval Night on Saturday, May 2, starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets and additional information about the activity, the venue, and its wine list are available on its website.
