A Mansfield venue usually more focused on the feathery set will soon be holding a party it hopes will offer a “shell” of a good time for everyone who includes it in their plans.
The team at Ohio Bird Sanctuary runs a variety of programs and events, and its Turtle Fest will give these reptiles some time in the spotlight. It will take place in late May, and both members and non-members are welcome to register, with the former getting free admission and the latter asked to pay a small fee.
The afternoon will see attendees celebrate the various species of turtles that call Ohio home. These include time with the Sanctuary’s resident ambassador box turtles, and there will also be themed games and other fun. The kids can make a craft as a keepsake of the occasion
Open houses and other special events can help a not-for-profit organization to showcase its work to the public, and they may seek sponsors to support the occasion. A brochure printing company can craft sponsor information packets that outline the benefits of providing financial support for such an activity.
The Ohio Bird Sanctuary will be celebrating turtles on Saturday, May 2. The festivities will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until 3:30 pm, and anyone wishing to register can do so through its website.
