A class that will utilize glass fusion techniques will soon be on offer in Mansfield, and everyone who takes part will walk away with a special item to keep or give as a gift.
The team at Kingwood Center Gardens has scheduled a workshop that will craft ornaments using fused glass. The runtime for the class is one hour, and both members and non-members are welcome to attend.
The facilitator for the activity will be Lasercraft Enterprises' Juli Parsons, and she will walk everyone through the steps of crafting their ornament. All materials will be supplied to the participants, and the goal is for everyone to have fun while they learn a new skill. At the end of the workshop, the ornaments will be collected and fired, and everyone will be able to pick them up on the designated date the following week, which is yet to be confirmed.

Kingswood Center Gardens will be offering this introduction to the art of working with fused glass on Sunday, December 14. It will run from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, and tickets to participate start at $28 each.
