Animal lovers in Mansfield who are looking for a good cause and an opportunity to stay active this autumn are in luck, as a local humane society has announced a fundraising activity.
The Dogs, Donuts, and Drinks 0.5K walk is drawing nearer in Mansfield, with organizers hoping to bring families and their furry friends to the host site for an organized walk that makes a difference. It is being put together by the Humane Society of Richland County, which has chosen a host site that can accommodate both two-legged and four-legged guests.
Dogs are more than welcome to join and participate, and the half-kilometer distance makes for an accessible and fun outdoor experience. An after-party will be held after the walk at the Phoenix Beer Garden, where adults can relax with alcoholic beverages and children can enjoy root beer. The reach of poster printing makes it a logical option for event organizers who want to raise awareness of their upcoming events.
Participants will receive a shirt to commemorate their participation in the fundraiser, along with a dog donut for their canines. The money raised will benefit the Richland County Humane Society’s animal welfare initiatives.
The Phoenix Brewing Company in Mansfield will be the fundraising walk’s host site. It is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, at 10:30 am. Tickets are available online for $40 per participant.
