Runners and walkers will come together in Fremont for the annual Presidents’ 5K event.
The race will take place on the grounds of Spiegel Grove, offering a measured out-and-back route known for its flat terrain and historic surroundings.
The event emphasizes accessibility and local engagement. Participants may choose to run competitively or walk at a relaxed pace, making the 5-kilometer distance suitable for both dedicated athletes and casual entrants. Organizers have confirmed that awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as a separate recognition for the most creative costume. In addition, the first 100 individuals to register will receive a complimentary giveaway.
Registration options vary by date. Early mail-in entries submitted by January 30th are priced at $25 and include a guaranteed race shirt. Online registration remains available through February 8th; these tickets will cost $25 and include shirts for those who sign up in advance. Same-day registration opens at 9 am inside the museum and costs $30; Apparel availability is not assured for late registrants. A $2 surcharge applies for participants requesting size 2XL shirts.
Banner printing may be used to create signage for display at the start and finish areas of events such as this one.
