Outing to support Fremont community initiatives

A fundraising golf event in Fremont will bring together community members for a day of recreation and charitable giving.

Organized by the Sandusky County Communities Foundation, the outing is designed to generate financial support for local programs while offering participants a full day on the course.

The event welcomes players of varying experience levels. Teams will compete in a relaxed format, with scheduled activities including registration, a ceremonial opening, and a shotgun start to begin play. The outing also incorporates opportunities for social engagement, with shared meals and an awards presentation planned following the round.

Registration includes a comprehensive package for participants. Each team entry covers course access, use of a golf cart, two beverage tickets per player, a sleeve of golf balls, a mid-round meal, and a concluding dinner. Organizers have also introduced an optional add-on package that provides additional gameplay advantages and refreshments, including mulligans, a putting aid, and extra drink tickets.

As with many organized outings of this scale, banner printing is often used to provide sponsor recognition, the event agenda, and course directions throughout the venue.

Ticket pricing is set at $535.38 per team of four, including a $35.38 fee. An optional Pro-Package add-on is available for $108.55, including an $8.55 fee.

The event will be on Friday, June 12, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club, 3728 Hayes Ave, Fremont.
