Fremont to host two days of creativity and community

The River of Arts Festival will return for a two-day celebration of art, creativity, and community engagement in downtown Fremont.

The event offers activities for all ages, including opportunities to watch live demonstrations, enjoy local food vendors, and participate in hands-on creative experiences.

The festival’s Open Air Art Market will feature artists, crafters, and makers showcasing their work in 10×12-foot booths under a lighted, secured tent. Spaces are available for $50 for a single day or $75 for two days. Vendors may pay by cash, check, or credit card.

In addition to the market, an Indoor Art Show will highlight original works across different age categories: children (0–8), children (9–12), young adults (13–17), and adults (18+). Ribbons will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each category, along with a Best in Show ribbon. All submissions must be brought to the Downtown Fremont Inc. office by September 22nd, at 5 pm. Organizers note that while care will be taken with all entries, responsibility for loss or damage remains with the artist.

When attempting to highlight the different vendors at events such as this one, organizers may use banner printing.

The festival will be held on Friday, September 26th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday, September 27th, from 11 am to 8 pm at 315 Garrison Street, Fremont, Ohio.
