Popular vocalist to entertain Cincinnati audience

A singer with a successful four-decade career behind him is on the way to Cincinnati.

Chris Isaak is a guitarist, songwriter, and actor as well as a singer. He is known for his “rockabilly” style with its heavy use of reverb, which gives it depth and resonance. In 1989, Isaak released his third studio album “Heart-Shaped World,” which featured the single “Wicked Game.” The song became his signature, and his breakthrough hit, and the album was rated 2x Platinum by the RIAA.

Isaak is a native of Stockton, California, who earned a bachelor’s degree in communications arts and English from the University of the Pacific. After graduation, he founded Silvertone, his first band. Although there have been lineup changes, they are still with him as his backing band. In addition to “Heart-Shaped World,” Isaac has released 12 albums, dropping his latest “Everybody Knows It’s Christmas” in 2022.

Isaac also has acted in both film and television, and has a long-standing association with film director David Lynch, who has used Isaak’s music in many of his films. Isaak’s film appearances have included “The Silence of the Lambs” as well as Lynch’s “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.”

A review says:

“Chris Isaak is hot, sexy, and talented. Did I mention he's an amazing live performer? He is the entire package!”

Chris Isaak will be at the Hard Rock Ballroom Cincinnati on December 19. Organizers of events like this often use poster printing to create colorful advertisements supporting them.
