Cincinnati lights up for holidays

Christmas light displays are one of the most beautiful parts of the season, and a brand new event is coming to Cincinnati with millions of twinkling lights.

The Lumaze Christmas Light Festival and Market is coming to the city for the first time, with the theme “Glow Around the World.” Lights will be used to recreate famous landmarks such the Eiffel Tour and London Bridge. The structures are covered with thousands of lights. In addition to the internationally famous landmarks, Lumaze will also offer its trackless train, as well as princesses and an appearance by Santa Claus.

The train is pulled by Louis the Locomotive, who is happy to pull families and people of all ages around the festival. The ride is free and leaves from the depot every half-hour. A number of activities are interactive, including light tunnels, hanging picture frames, hanging lights, and a scavenger hunt. Live entertainment by some of the area’s best groups is also on the schedule. Colorful, effective advertising for events like this can be created by using poster printing.

The festival will take place at the Duke Energy Convention Center and covers more than 100,000 square feet. The event is inside so everyone can enjoy it no matter the weather. Lumaze opens November 26 and runs to December 30. Pets are not allowed, although service animals are welcome, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
