An unusual event is coming up that will give Cincinnati residents a chance to look at 25 years that shaped the city.
Ludlow Garage is celebrating the period from 1960 to 1985 with exhibits and a live show called “Life on the Edge.” The Garage will display memorabilia, recordings, show Posters, original photos, and other rare items throughout the loft and restaurant. Many of these items will be for sale. Organizers of events like this can enhance the experience by using brochure printing to create a list of items.
Event organizers also say that local personalities, including TV and radio on-air celebrities, photographers, journalists, and musicians will be on hand, mingling and sharing stories while people attending the event enjoy food and drink from the bar.
However, there is more to the day than static displays. The evening brings a live performance featuring James Weston, a professional acoustic guitarist. The Ludlow Garage House Band will play two sets, led by Kristen Kreft, Danny Manning, Rickey Nye, and Sonny Moorman. The cherry on top is a reunion set by the Auburnaires, a popular local garage band that rocked the city in the 1980s and 1990s.
The event is also a fundraiser on behalf of the USA Music Heritage Foundation, a group that promotes and preserves the Cincinnati region’s musical heritage.
The look back at Cincinnati is scheduled for October 30. The House Band plays at 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm, and the Auburnaires take the stage at 9.00 pm.
