Jack Harlow is bringing his Roaring 20s Tour to Cincinnati. The appearance has been rescheduled from an earlier date.
Harlow was born and raised in Kentucky and has been rapping since he was 12. While he was in middle school, Harlow and his friend Sharath made and sold a CD they called “Rippin' and Rappin,” and he made his first mixtape, “Extra Credit,” in seventh grade.
During his freshmen year in high school, he put videos on YouTube, which interested a number of major record labels, but Harlow declined to sign with any of them. He graduated in 2016, but even before he left school, he was playing to sold-out audiences in venues such as the Mercury Ballroom. He released “The Handsome Harlow,” his first commercial effort, while he was still in high school.
Harlow has become immensely popular, particularly with young people, and now has a sizable following. A review of one of his performances says:
“Harlow was energetic and confident, and the whole room loved him . . . , Time seemed to fly from one song to the next. . . . the music [was] catchy and full of life . . . Harlow was full of talent and charisma.”
Harlow is scheduled to appear at Riverfront Live on October 17, at 7:15 pm. Doors are set to open at 6:00 pm. Flyer printing is a useful method of advertising events like this.
