Fans of popular music, and of the legendary Beatles, will have reason to celebrate later this year.
Singer Paul McCartney has announced that his upcoming 'One on One' tour will stop in Cincinnati this summer. This will be his first appearance in the city since 2011, when he sold out the seats in an appearance at the Great American Ball Park.
The current tour features a redesigned set, and songs from throughout McCartney's career, from his work as a solo artist, to the music of his band Wings. McCartney and Wings released ‘Live and Let Die’, which was the theme song to the James Bond film of the same name.
McCartney is most famous as one of the ‘Fab Four’—the Beatles. Along with John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, he created music that is familiar to millions all over the world, including classics like ‘A Hard Day's Night’, ‘She Loves You’, and ’I Want to Hold Your Hand’.
McCartney's show comes to the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati on July 10, which is a Sunday. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.com, or at the Arena's box office.
Arena management could add to the fun and excitement by working with a banner printing company to create a series of flags to hang throughout the venue on the day of the event.
