The Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is presenting “Christmas Eve and Other Stories,” to audiences in 2021. Although the show is brand new, the group is sure to include some of their biggest hits.
TSO is the brainchild of Paul O’Neill, a New York City native whose vision was as simple, yet extremely ambitious. He wanted to set up a progressive rock group to push the genre’s boundaries further than ever. To do so, he incorporated the styles he listened to growing up. In addition to rock, O’Neill enjoyed Broadway musicals, the work of singer/songwriters like Harry Chapin, and the Motown sound.
As the group coalesced, he added in The Who’s approach to rock opera; light shows inspired by Pink Floyd; and the combination of rock and classical music made popular by bands like Queen. The result of the mash-up is a completely new sound, including Christmas albums, which has been delighting audiences for decades and thrilling them with unmatched pyrotechnics.
A review says:
“Never have you felt "Jingle Bells" rumble in your chest so heavily or been mesmerized by "The Nutcracker Suite" so completely.”
The TSO will be at the Heritage Bank Center at 7:30 pm on December 2. Poster printing can provide colorful advertising for events like this.
