What's Happening in Centerville, OH…

Summer music continues in Centerville

More music is coming to Centerville over the coming weeks as the summer warms up.

July’s installments of the Summer Concert Series begin with 24K Magic, which has performed in 11 countries and over 40 states, bringing an authentic Bruno Mars experience to enthusiastic audiences.

Head Games is becoming increasingly popular and is now headlining instead of opening for other bands. The Foreigner tribute has played venues such as Myrtle Beach’s House of Blues.

Turn to Stone recreates an Electric Light Orchestra concert with a light show, a live string section, and clothing typical of the 1970s.

Landslide pays homage to Fleetwood Mac, and takes fans through the entire catalog of the legendary band, including work from members who went solo.

Genesis Retouched replicates a Genesis concert from the period of its peak popularity, the 1980s to the 2000s.

Finally, the Centerville Pops! has won acclaim for its concerts of popular music, including salutes to Hollywood and a Christmas spectacular.

Running in the order listed above, these concerts take place on July 6, 11, 13, 20, 25, and 27. All are at Stubbs Park and get underway at 7.00 pm, and admission is free. Food trucks and concession stands are available at 5.30 pm. Posters, which organizers can find at local print shops, make for perfect advertising media for events like these.
