A local Centerville organization that assists non-profits and donors has announced its annual meeting.
The Centerville-Washington Foundation is based in the community, and provides services to other nonprofit organizations, charitable donors, and the community itself. The Foundation structures both temporary and permanent funds for donors, providing economies of scale, as well as technical support and deep knowledge of the subject.
The Foundation also provides funds to nonprofits for both emergencies and routine needs. Among the funds now formed and managed by the Foundation are the Centerville-Washington History Fund, which collects, preserves, and promotes local history; and the Mark Andrew Kreusch Memorial Fund, established in memory of Mark Kreusch.
At the upcoming annual meeting, two organizations will be celebrated: the 2021 Community Impact Grantee, which is the Washington Township RecPlex; and the 2022 Community Support Grant Recipients. The RecPlex won a $10,000 grant to fund its efforts to revitalize its docks, ponds, kayak launch, and aeration system. When this type of event is scheduled, organizers can use brochure printing to create programs.
Brook Cupps is the guest speaker for the evening. Cupps is the boys’ basketball coach at Centerville High School and the author of “Surrender the Outcome: The path to an Impactful Life of Coaching, Leading, and Living.”
The program is scheduled for April 13, from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm in the Central Theatre of Centerville High School. The event is free, and everyone is invited. Donations are gratefully accepted but not necessary.
