Local winery to host creative event for Akron artists
Artists in the Akron area will want to save the date, as a local winery is preparing to host an evening of socialization and creativity.
The Wishing Flower Crushed Glass with Lights Paint and Sip Class is coming to town next month. It will offer area creatives the opportunity to learn new skills and create a unique piece of home decor. The pieces are inspired by the increased number of sightings of the Aurora Borealis in Ohio over the last year.
The class may be an ideal setting for dates, catching up with friends, or corporate outings that will boost morale among coworkers. Organizers will replace any necessary materials at no extra cost should supply chain issues arise leading up to the event. Brochure printing can help attendees at such events retain more information and apply the learned skills from the class to projects at home.
Students will work with crushed glass. The organizers and host venue advise to take care but have stressed that they are not responsible for any injuries registered guests obtain. The students will need to mix their resin thoroughly, and an area artist will be available to answer any questions and provide guidance throughout the process.
Nauti Vine Winery will host the paint and sip artistic evening on Wednesday, May 14 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Registration is open online for $42 per participant.
