Akron to host food safety training for managers
The ServSafe Manager Exam and Instructor-Led Course is set to take place in Akron next month.
The Conference for Food Protection (CFP) department of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) officially recognizes the ServSafe Manager Exam and Instructor-Led Course as a professional source of education for managers who need to update or learn food safety protocols.
This one-day course includes the latest research and developments on food safety, the up-to-date FDA Food Code, proper sanitation, and all the necessary food safety practices. All participants will receive links to digital training materials with their confirmation of registration emails.
To attend the Akron course, anyone who is interested in registering must purchase tickets online at $340 per person. All participants must have their own tablet or computer to answer exam questions. Each student who successfully completes the entire course as well as the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Proctored Computer Exam will receive a digital certificate of completion. This certificate along with each student’s individual exam score is available for printing up to 24 hours following completion. When attending similar certification courses, participants often visit local print shops to obtain copies of their certification for offline use.
This food safety training event is scheduled to proceed from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3. Participants who will only be taking the exam without the course can arrive at 4:30 pm.
