The Play Group Theatre in White Plains is hosting a holiday-themed Candlelight concert this December.
Candlelight concerts are designed to create a multi-sensory experience for audiences. The musical performance by Highland String Quartet will be paired with soft candle lighting and a stunning background to help create this effect. The program will include holiday classics like “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Deck the Halls,” and “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.”
The concert will run for one hour. Late arrivals will not be allowed in, so attendees should plan to arrive early. Doors will open at 5:15 pm. Tickets are available online through FeverUp.com, which also has details of the full tentative program. Prices range from $29 to $53.50 depending on the seat locations. Seats are divided into three zones, and seating is first come, first served within each zone.
The performance is appropriate for adults and children aged eight and older, although anyone younger than 16 needs to attend with an adult. Theaters often work with Print shops to create programs for their shows. Candlelight concerts with different themes take place throughout the year.
