The Westchester County Association is hosting a Sustainable Business Conference this September.
The half-day conference will cover how businesses are making decisions based on environmental sustainability and other values. The afternoon will begin with a speech from New York Climate Exchange CEO Stephen Hammer. Participants can then attend two panel discussions. Each panel timeslot offers two options – a business track and a policy track.
The business track panels will provide case studies and specific examples of businesses that have adopted policies for sustainability. Attendees will hear from companies in industries like real estate and healthcare. The policy panels will cover topics like what environmental, social, and governance (ESG) professionals do and what types of labeling and disclosure requirements companies need to follow. The last hour of the conference will be a networking reception where Business Cards can be exchanged.
Registration is open now. Those interested can sign up through Eventbrite. Tickets cost $55 for Wester County Association members and $75 for non-members, and they will be available for purchase until the day before the conference. Sponsorships are also available. Sponsors will have their names and logos included in the conference marketing materials. Conference organizers often work with Print shops to create these materials.
The Profit and Purpose WCA Sustainable Business Conference will take place on Friday, September 13 from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Elisabeth Hub School of Law at Pace University.
