January is the fifth annual Restaurant Month in downtown White Plains.
The White Plains Business Improvement District (BID) intends to both promote local restaurants and allow people to visit these restaurants at an affordable cost. All of the participating restaurants are offering meals at one of three set price points. Lunches cost $22.95, regular dinners cost $32.95, and second-tier dinners cost $42.95.
Each restaurant can choose whether to offer its full menu or a smaller prix-fixe menu, as well as which of the price options to serve. Some restaurants are not offering the promotion on certain days, and some are offering the deal for takeout as well. Diners should check with the individual restaurants they would like to visit about hours, menu options, and reservations. Restaurants often use Graphic Design Services to create and update their Menus.
The set prices do not include taxes or tips. White Plains BID encourages all diners to tip their servers. All participating restaurants are listed on the organization’s website along with their Menus if provided. Establishments joining in include Cantina Taco & Tequila Bar, Greca Estiatorio, Freebird Kitchen and Bar, Lazy Boy Saloon, Ron Blacks Beer Hall, Via Garibaldi, Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar.
White Plains Restaurant Month is taking place throughout this month. Those interested should call or visit the website of the individual restaurants to make reservations.
