Westchester County Association (WCA) is hosting its 6th Annual Regional Workforce Development Summit this spring.
The short conference will focus on ways businesses can meet their skill and hiring needs both now and in the future. These will include general strategies as well as specific programs, initiatives and resources. Kellianne Murphy, the Senior Director of Cooperative Education at Northeastern University, will give the keynote address. Dr. Kristin Curry Greenwood, Mercy University’s Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, will moderate a panel discussion that includes the Superintendent of the White Plains City School District and other education and operations experts.
Tickets are available on the WCA website now. The cost is $55 for members and $75 for non-members. Sponsorship packages are available for interested businesses. These include listings on Signs at the event and on marketing materials as well, as verbal recognition during the summit. Organizers often work with Print shops to create these materials. The supporter tier is $1,500 and includes two tickets, while the sponsor tier is $3,000 and includes five tickets. Current sponsors include White Plains Hospital, 914 Inc., SUNY Westchester Community College and The Catalyst Westchester County Economic Development.
The 6th Annual Regional Workforce Development Summit will take place on Wednesday, April 2 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the Davis Auditorium at SUNY Westchester Community College.
